Kaz Grala will start 36th from Sonoma Raceway on Sunday. The Rick Ware Racing car is starting around 31st on average in 2024. Grala and his Ford were 1.61 seconds off the pole and has been right in the back on most course. An average finish of 27.0 is not a surprise given the slowness of the No. 15 Ford. Most races have seen Grala stay in the back and not factor much at all. The concern is that his car is too slow and holds other drivers up as far as lap traffic.
