Kurt Kitayama played exceptionally well at last week's Waste Management Phoenix Open, finishing tied for eight. Kitayama has now finished in the top 30 in three out of his four 2024 appearances, with his best finish coming last week at TPC Scottsdale. Kitayama will make his second appearance at this week's Genesis Invitational, missing the cut last year in his debut appearance. Kitayama will have an excellent chance to compete this weekend if he continues his strong approach play from 150-200 yards in the fairway. In the past 12 months, he ranks in the 73rd percentile in proximity to the hole on such shots, and this is important to note because, at last year's tournament, over 48% of approach shots came from 150-200 yards. Kitayama has been in great form so far, but his past performance at this event makes him a risky inclusion in DFS lineups.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
