Chicago Blackhawks center Connor Bedard left Friday's 4-2 loss to New Jersey early with an undisclosed injury. He exited after taking a big hit from Devils defenseman Brendan Smith in the first period. Bedard was limited to 3:05 of ice time. According to Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson, Bedard will be evaluated after the team has returned to Chicago. Last year's No. 1 overall pick has recorded 15 goals and 33 points in 39 games during his rookie campaign. He's now in danger of missing the first game of his young career, with the Blackhawks returning to action on Sunday versus Calgary.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
