Week 12 Half-PPR Wide Receiver Rankings for Fantasy Football: Tank Dell, Garrett Wilson, Deebo Samuel, Calvin Ridley, more

Calvin Ridley - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Week 12 fantasy football wide receiver rankings for half-PPR scoring. Set winning lineups with our Week 12 ranks for fantasy football and the 2023 NFL season.

Welcome back, Rotoballers! Another week is upon us, and we are rapidly approaching the end of the fantasy football regular season. There are many injuries and news to track, but we are here to help you stay informed and on top of everything for the NFL. With four games on Thursday and Friday, let's get those winning lineups ready to go. Today, we will review our Week 12 half-PPR wide receiver rankings for fantasy football.

There are no bye weeks in Week 12, so fantasy managers should have a full arsenal this week. Let's see where key wideouts such as Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Adam Thielen, Garrett Wilson, Christian Kirk, Deebo Samuel, Jaylen Waddle, DK Metcalf, DeAndre Hopkins, and Calvin Ridley rank this week.

Our fantasy football rankings for Week 11 are put together by Nick Mariano. In addition to our staff rankings, below you will also find a summary of this week's important fantasy football injury news. There are always key injuries to keep track of, so be sure to check back until kickoff.

Week 12 Wide Receiver Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks for key options in Week 12, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether you should start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Week 12 Overall Half-PPR Rankings: 50
Week 12 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 22

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel will square up with the Seahawks in Seattle on Thanksgiving night. In last week's win at home against Tampa Bay, Samuel was largely quiet, save for a wide-open 40-yard reception on a busted coverage. If not for that, he would have finished with two receptions on three targets for 23 yards and minus-one-yard rushing.

The matchup on Thursday is neutral, as Seattle's defense ranks 16th in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers. Fantasy managers hoping for a significant rushing contribution from Samuel -- like his 38 yards and a touchdown on the ground in Week 2 -- may have to temper expectations, as Seattle has allowed the seventh-fewest rushing yards per game. Consider Samuel near the bottom of the WR2 hierarchy this week.

DK Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Week 12 Overall Half-PPR Rankings: 23
Week 12 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 51

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (toe) returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the previous two days while tending to an issue with his toe. Metcalf was able to practice in full and will not carry an injury designation into Seattle's Thanksgiving Day game against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers have a stout defense but have shown a weakness to the pass, allowing an opponent's WR1 to reach 100 yards on five occasions (as well as a 96-yard day to Marquise Brown in Week 4).

The 49ers also just lost starting safety Talanoa Hufanga (knee) to an ACL tear, and he is expected to be replaced by rookie Ji'Ayir Brown. Metcalf, whose 16 red zone targets are tied for third-most in the league, is in a good position to add another touchdown to his season total on Thursday night and should be good for a WR2 finish in Week 12.

Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers
Week 12 Overall Half-PPR Rankings: 48
Week 12 Wide Receiver PPR Rankings: 94

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs will go on the road to take on the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving in Week 12. The second-year receiver has cleared the 40-yard receiving mark just once since Week 4 but has found the end zone in four of the last five games and has been a favorite of quarterback Jordan Love inside the red zone.

Detroit is a great matchup for opposing wide receivers right now. Not only have they struggled to stop the pass as of late, but they have allowed the 10th-most points per game to the position throughout the 2023 season. Jayden Reed (chest) has been seeing his role increase over the past month, but Doubs remains the top target in scoring range and has a good chance to score in Week 12. Consider the 23-year-old a solid flex option on Thanksgiving.
