PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Kyle Kuzma UNDER 0.5 Steals - Kyle Kuzma gets away with a lot, from dressing like Chris Tucker in The Fifth Element to being an afterthought on a Washington Wizards team going nowhere. What's questionable, though, is how Kuzma has one steal in seven games. Players who don't play good defense can accumulate steals, but the Zoolander of the NBA can't get his hands dirty by accident. Stick with the trend by going under on Kuzma steals.
LaMelo Ball UNDER 6.5 Rebounds - Playing against the defenseless Dallas Mavericks spiked LaMelo Ball's numbers. Ball wouldn't have such a grand stat line without his fourth-quarter explosion vs. Dallas. Ball's season-high for rebounds also came against Dallas. Aside from the 10 rebounds, four is the highest he's recorded. Although the Wizards stink and rank last league-wide in rebounds, Ball plays behind the three-point line; he won't be in the paint to make a dent on the boards.
James Harden OVER 23.5 Points+Assists -It's been a slow start for Los Angeles Clippers point guard "The System," formerly James Harden. Averaging a modest 14 points and 5.5 assists per contest in two games, playing against the Mavericks will boost Harden's numbers. The Mavericks allowed 70 points in the paint vs. the Toronto Raptors; such a daunting stat leads me to believe the Harden-Ivica Zubac connection will finally work. Always bet against the Mavericks' defense.
Tobias Harris UNDER 0.5 Blocks - As one Boston podcast guru would say, "Tobias Harris is having a moment." The Philadelphia 76ers are 6-1, with Harris having a splendid campaign, averaging 19 points per contest on 60/37/88 shooting splits. Still, there is a gap in his contract-year renaissance performance: acquiring blocks. Rejecting four shots in seven games isn't exactly filling up the box score. While 0.5 blocks isn't a cushioned line, assume Harris hovers under the aforementioned projection.
Anthony Edwards OVER 37.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists - While it's highly premature to discuss anything MVP-related, betting against Anthony Edwards seemed like a trap for the unaware. Sitting at a surprising 5-2 record, the Minnesota Timberwolves can thank Edwards' 27.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists stat line for their success. Minnesota faces the San Antonio Spurs tonight, the 30th-ranked defensive in the league; I think you know what you should do.
