Philadelphia Flyers right wing Travis Konecny continued Thursday where he left off in 2022-23, helping the team start the new campaign with a 4-2 victory in Columbus by scoring two goals. He gave the Flyers a 2-1 lead in the first period and helped to wrap up the victory with an empty-netter in the third. The 26-year-old now has seven career goals in season openers with Philadelphia, trailing only Bill Barber (10). Konecny produced a career-high 31 goals in 60 games last season, and he should be flirting with a 40-goal campaign in 2023-24 if he can stay healthy. His start was certainly promising.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
