Los Angeles Kings winger Viktor Arvidsson (lower body) has been placed on long-term Injured Reserve. The veteran forward missed Wednesday's season opener against Colorado, and head coach Todd McLellan told the media after the game that Arvidsson won't be with the team for a while. He's not set to be unavailable for at least 10 games. Arvidsson has been the fourth-best scorer on the team in both years he has played in Los Angeles, so his absence is quite a blow for the team. He will be eligible to return from LTIR on Nov. 8 against Vegas.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
