8 months agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman (illness) has been scratched from the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Boston Red Sox. It appears the switch-hitting catcher is feeling a little under the weather. Luckily, it sounds like a minor issue, so Rutschman should be considered as day-to-day right now. James McCann will do the catching and bat eighth versus right-hander Nick Pivetta on Friday.
