Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones has missed just seven games in his seven-year career. However, he hasn't shown up to training camp all summer due to a contract dispute. At this point, even if Jones signed a contract on Thursday, there's a good chance he wouldn't play in Week 1 or maybe even in Week 2. ESPN's Dan Graziano suggests the Chiefs could get off to a slow start without their defensive MVP. Jones has 56.5 of the team's 215 sacks over the past five seasons. It's a big reason why he's asking for more money, and he hinted on social media that he's willing to hold out until Week 8. Kansas City also has one of the league's toughest scheduled in 2023. An extended absence from Jones early this season could be costly for their defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
