Green Bay Packers defensive back Jaire Alexander (groin) won't play during Friday's preseason opener. Alexander was forced to miss practice twice this week due to an ongoing groin issue. Its worth noting that Alexander missed one game last season due to a groin injury. Although, it doesn't sound like the injury is too serious right now. The Packers are likely just being cautious because it's the preseason. The assumption is that Alexander will be fine for the regular season.
