Pablo Reyes Reinstated From Injured List
10 months agoThe Boston Red Sox reinstated infielder Pablo Reyes (abdomen) from the injured list on Monday and optioned relievers Justin Garza and Brandon Walter to Triple-A Worcester in corresponding moves. Reyes is back in Boston after missing around a month with an abdominal injury, and he'll provide infield depth moving forward. The 29-year-old went 11-for-41 with three home runs, three stolen bases, seven RBI and eight runs scored in 11 games on his minor-league rehab assignment. Reyes was hitting .303/.338/.364 with no home runs, four doubles, nine RBI and nine runs scored in 27 games for the BoSox before his injury. He's probably only worth rostering in AL-only leagues at this point unless he suddenly comes into everyday playing time. Reyes has six homers in 174 big-league games.
