Pablo Reyes Reinstated From Injured List
1 year agoThe Boston Red Sox reinstated infielder Pablo Reyes (abdomen) from the injured list on Monday and optioned relievers Justin Garza and Brandon Walter to Triple-A Worcester in corresponding moves. Reyes is back in Boston after missing around a month with an abdominal injury, and he'll provide infield depth moving forward. The 29-year-old went 11-for-41 with three home runs, three stolen bases, seven RBI and eight runs scored in 11 games on his minor-league rehab assignment. Reyes was hitting .303/.338/.364 with no home runs, four doubles, nine RBI and nine runs scored in 27 games for the BoSox before his injury. He's probably only worth rostering in AL-only leagues at this point unless he suddenly comes into everyday playing time. Reyes has six homers in 174 big-league games.
