New Jersey Devils right wing Timo Meier finished with two goals and one assist in Thursday's 8-1 victory against the Blue Jackets. Meier found the back of the net on the power play for his 39th goal of the season, and he later added another goal to get to 40 for the first time in his career. Meier and the high-scoring Devils are still in the race to finish first in the Metropolitan Division, and they are battling the Hurricanes for the top spot with three games remaining on the schedule. Meier has playoff experience from his time with the Sharks and he has career postseason totals of seven goals and 20 points through 35 games played.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
