In their last five games, Atlanta is averaging 119 points per contest. Atlanta has utilized their pace effectively this season, with an average of 99.5 possessions per game, which ranks 13th in the league. Their fast-paced style has offset their three-point field goal percentage of 35.2% (20th). The Hawks are 26th in the NBA for free-throw attempts and have a shooting percentage of 81.7%.

On the defensive end of the floor, the Hawks have allowed opponents to shoot 47.3% from the field and are allowing 112.5 points per game (17th). From beyond the arc, team's are shooting 36.4%. Today's NBA Betting Pick - Pistons vs. Hawks

The Hawks currently have the leg up in this year's season series against the Pistons. Across three games, the Hawks have a record of 3-0. The last head-to-head showdown between the teams ended in a 118-113 win for the Hawks. Atlanta also covered the spread as the 7.5 point favorite. Their previous ten games have ended in an average of 239 points per game and an over/under mark of 5-5.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: ATL -12.5
