Texas Tech edge rusher Tyree Wilson (foot), who is considered one of the top prospects in this year's NFL draft, is progressing well in his recovery from a fractured foot. However, Wilson just started ramping up his workouts two weeks ago and plans to wait until his pro day to do drills and testing for NFL scouts, according to a source. He is preparing to do the bench press at this week's combine in Indianapolis. It was the only event that he could prepare for while in a walking boot, which he shed last month. Wilson met with almost every team that picks in the top 10 of the first round in 2023 and he has rare football traits, including a massive wingspan. Despite his injury, the 22-year-old pass-rusher could come off the board early in the first round if he tests well at his pro day.--Keith HernandezRead More News
