Washington Capitals right wing Tom Wilson was unable to finish Tuesday's matchup against Colorado after sustaining a lower-body injury. He exited the game in the second period after blocking a shot from Avalanche defenseman Brad Hunt. Wilson finished with 9:05 of ice time and posted two shots, two blocks and three hits with a minus-one rating. The 28-year-old power forward already missed the start of the season with an ACL injury and will be desperate to avoid another extended spell on the sidelines. Wilson hasn't performed well either since making his season debut, posting two goals and three points in eight games with a minus-seven rating. He has gone scoreless in six of his outings. Conor Sheary should find his way back into the top six if Wilson is out for the next game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
