Colorado Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen had a dream outing in his home country of Finland on Friday, scoring a hat trick in a Global Series game against Columbus. He put his team three goals up early in the second period before recording the eventual game-winner in a 6-3 game with a power-play goal in the third and wrapping up his fourth career hat trick with an empty-netter. He also collected one assist in the game. Rantanen has now racked up six points across his last two outings after being on a four-game scoring drought. He pushed his numbers for the season up to seven goals and eight assists. Nathan MacKinnon also had a very productive outing with four assists. The two will look to crush it again in Tampere on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
