2024 NFL Draft - Javon Baker, Johnny Wilson, Theo Johnson NFL Draft Predictions and Potential Landing Spots

Javon Baker - Fantasy Football Rankings, College FB, WR, NFL Draft Sleepers

2024 NFL Draft predictions for Javon Baker, Johnny Wilson, Theo Johnson. What round will Baker, Wilson, and Johnson be drafted in, and which NFL teams will draft them? Read their 2024 NFL Draft outlook.

Javon Baker NFL Draft Prediction

ROUND PREDICTION: Third Round (No. 90 Overall Pick)

TEAM PREDICTION: Arizona Cardinals (via Houston Texans)

DRAFT ANALYSIS: UCF's Javon Baker can play both in the slot and out wide, just do not expect him to be an X at the next level. He was often used downfield in college and once you watch you can see why. He can adjust both his speed and his body to track the deep ball. He has great hands and at times shows a really nice ability to jump up and high-point the ball. He not only earned a bunch of deep targets but was also used to help clear things out for his teammates.

While his role was largely as a deep target, Baker can get open at all three levels. He also is shifty and can put up yards after the catch. He just did not get a ton of those opportunities. He also has good instincts and knows how to bail on a set route and just get open when his QB is being flushed. Ideally, he will move both inside and out but he could end up playing a Gabe Davis/Marquez Valdes-Scantling type of clear-out route.

The Cardinals are the popular team prediction for Marvin Harrison Jr., but they need help filling out the rest of the wide receiver room after they suddenly lack speed following the departures of Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore.

Johnny Wilson NFL Draft Prediction

ROUND PREDICTION: Third Round (No. 99 Overall Pick)

TEAM PREDICTION: Los Angeles Rams

DRAFT ANALYSIS: Johnny Wilson is huge. He provides QBs with a huge target and has good speed for someone as physically imposing as him. Still, he is not the cleanest route runner and will have to learn to use his size more consistently in the NFL. There certainly is potential there and he could be a force in the red zone.

There has been speculation that he could transition into more of a tight end role at the next level, and the Rams landing a big-bodied pass-catcher in Round 3 makes plenty of sense.

Theo Johnson NFL Draft Prediction

ROUND PREDICTION: Third Round (No. 100 Overall Pick)

TEAM PREDICTION: Washington Commanders

DRAFT ANALYSIS: Theo Johnson caught just 77 passes for 938 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in four collegiate seasons, but his performance at the 2024 NFL Combine gives him a chance to come off the board on Day 2. At 259 pounds, Johnson amazed scouts with his size, speed, and explosiveness. At the tight end spot, projecting upside from athleticism is common practice.

With Washington moving on from Logan Thomas this offseason, expect the tight end position to be a priority in the draft this week.
