Updated 2023 NFL playoff picture, standings, AFC/NFC Wild Card race as of Week 15 (2023). A look at the top seeds and teams in the hunt for the NFL playoffs.
There are just four weeks of the 2023 NFL regular season remaining, meaning it's time to turn our attention to the NFL Playoff picture. The San Francisco 49ers are the only team that has clinched a playoff berth after 14 weeks of action, so there is sure to be drama down the stretch.
There are six teams in the AFC with 7-6 records, so the next few slates of games will be important for shaping the 2023-24 postseason. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers are all still in the thick of the race for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Overall, 30 teams are still technically in playoff contention.
As a reminder, seven teams from each conference will qualify for the postseason. The top seeds in each conference will earn a first-round bye, while the three other division winners in each conference will host a playoff game in the Wild Card Round. Despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sitting at 6-7, they are currently ahead of the 10-3 Eagles due to the NFL's playoff format. Without further ado, let's dive into the standings.
