Zamir White fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 1 (2024). Should you start or sit Zamir White for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: While it's fair to question Zamir White's talent and the Las Vegas Raiders offense as a whole, there's little doubt that the third-year back should get all the carries he can handle in 2024.
After Antonio Pierce took over for the fired Josh McDaniels in Week 9 last season, the Raiders looked determined to establish the run and play stout defense. It largely worked, as Las Vegas closed the season by going 5-4 with Pierce at the helm.
White played a big role down the stretch for the run-heavy Raiders. Across the last four games of the 2023 regular season, he racked up an eye-opening 23.3 touches per game which he converted into an average of 114.3 total yards per contest.

With former Raiders RB1 Josh Jacobs now in Green Bay - and the organization doing little in the way of adding backfield competition for White during the offseason - the former Georgia Bulldog appears on track to handle the vast bulk of the carries for the Silver and Black in 2024.
A Week 1 matchup against a revamped Chargers defense isn't one to avoid. White hit the 'Bolts for 69 yards and a score in Week 15 last year and L.A. relinquished a middling 4.01 yards per carry to opposing RBs in 2023. Those who picked White up in their drafts can feel comfortable rolling him out as a volume-driven RB2 in the season opener.
