Zach Charbonnet fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 5 (2024). Should you start or sit Zach Charbonnet for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/RB4
ANALYSIS: The Seattle Seahawks running back situation is pretty simple -- if lead RB Kenneth Walker III plays, you start him and you sit backup Zach Charbonnet (outside of deeper leagues). Charb's value when Walker plays is mostly through his passing work, which to his credit, he's had decent involvement in.
The risk is certainly there if you start him, though. Walker is the clear lead back, and Charbonnet's role is mostly to spell him and block. He's done a good job pass-blocking and run-blocking as well. Charbonnet has blocked for Kenny to great success and it's likely offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb will continue to involve him this way.

Unfortunately, points-per-run-blocking-for-the-other-running-back-leagues aren't a thing, so Charb's upside is heavily limited when Walker plays. He's a great start if the lead back gets injured, but it's not possible to predict that ahead of time.
KWIII was limited at practice on Thursday, but that's probably a load-management scheme, and he deserves plenty of rest after his monster game against the Detroit Lions on Monday. Charbonnet owners should stay updated with Walker's injury situation to make their final decisions on whether to start or sit Charb.

Looking to their matchups, how they've played recently, how their offense is doing as […]
