Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 10:

Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals
Trade Value: 33.8
ROS Rank: 67

Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee) injured the meniscus in his knee in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers and had surgery, forcing him to Injured Reserve. Bensons was initially given a four- to six-week timeline to return after having surgery.

Benson will be eligible to return for the Week 10 contest against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks, but it's unclear if that is in play for the second-year back. "He's doing well. He's getting better," head coach Jonathan Gannon said on Saturday. Once the Cardinals designate Benson to return from IR and he rejoins the team at practice, they will have 21 days to officially activate him back to the active roster.

He was the team's leading rusher with 160 yards on 29 carries through four games before getting hurt. Until Benson can return, the Cardinals will go with a timeshare between Bam Knight and Michael Carter at RB.

Verdict: Top buy-low candidate as he could carry high-end RB2 upside when active

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns
Trade Value: 49.6
ROS Rank: 42

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said he "feels good" about rookie running back Quinshon Judkins' (shoulder) availability for the Week 10 contest this Sunday against the New York Jets, according to Scott Petrak of Browns Zone. Judkins was forced to leave the Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots early due to an AC joint sprain, but with the benefit of a bye in Week 9, he may not have to miss a game.

Stefanski called Judkins "day-to-day" on Monday, so fantasy managers have to feel good about the rookie's chances to suit up this weekend in a favorable matchup. The 22-year-old second-rounder out of Ohio State didn't take long to take over lead-back duties in Cleveland this year, and he should be the team's RB1 this weekend if he's cleared.

Judkins has been a must-start in fantasy lineups in 2025, posting 486 rushing yards and five touchdowns on his 118 carries through seven starts. He's also added 12 catches for 60 yards on 15 targets.

Verdict: Sell-high candidate as his touchdown upside will remain limited due to his poor offensive environment

Tyjae Spears, RB, Titans
Trade Value: 18.8
ROS Rank: 110

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears had seven carries for 26 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Spears also had three catches for 36 yards on three targets. The 24-year-old was able to squeak out 9.2 fantasy points, making it the fourth straight game of over seven fantasy points. Spears was on the wrong side of a split backfield, being out-touched by Tony Pollard 11 to 10.

The two backs continue to split touches as both fail to score over 10 fantasy points Sunday. Spears will need to stay involved and efficient in the passing game to remain fantasy relevant. Over 50 percent of Spears' fantasy points have come from his receiving production since his return, 13 catches for 96 receiving yards on 14 targets.

The Titans are heading into a much-needed bye week, and changes could be on the way for a stagnant offense. Spears will remain a mid-tier RB3 flex option heading into Week 11 against a tough Texans defense.

Verdict: Top buy-low candidate as he appears to be slowly taking over the lead job in the backfield

Kareem Hunt, RB, Chiefs
Trade Value: 20.5
ROS Rank: 105

With backfield mate Isiah Pacheco (knee) inactive for Week 9's 28-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt led the team's ground game. The veteran tied a season-high with 49 rushing yards on 11 totes, adding six yards on 1-of-2 receiving. Hunt punched in another short touchdown in this one, giving him three across his last two appearances and six on the season as a whole.

While his efficiency hasn't been off the charts, the Toledo product has rushed for at least 4.4 yards per clip in four of his previous five games. Furthermore, he's the most likely option on his team aside from quarterback Patrick Mahomes to find pay dirt on the ground. Pacheco is expected to return following Kansas City's Week 10 bye.

However, Hunt projects to lead the backfield again if he doesn't. It will be a situation to keep tabs on over the coming week.

Verdict: Sell-high candidate. Hunt will revert to a committee role once Pacheco is healthy

Who Should I Trade For?

Week 10 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Jakobi Meyers, Javonte Williams, Tyrone Tracy Jr. Tyjae Spears, Trey Benson, Quinshon Judkins, Kareem Hunt. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.

Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
