Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 17? Chase Brown, Tee Higgins, Courtland Sutton

Tee Higgins - Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Who should I start for Week 17? Fantasy football outlooks for Chase Brown, Tee Higgins, Courtland Sutton. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

Happy Holidays, RotoBallers! Week 17 has already begun with a few games on Christmas Day. For this article, we will examine a matchup on Saturday: the Cincinnati Bengals vs. the Denver Broncos. Congratulations to those of you still playing in fantasy football championships! We hope our team was able to assist you along the way.

This article will examine the player outlooks and matchups for Chase Brown, Tee Higgins, and Courtland Sutton. All three players have been consistent performers for fantasy managers in 2024.

One common theme in this article is that Ohio's weather could affect offensive production. Some rain and heavy 15-25 MPH winds are expected, but that can change. More importantly, fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation as kickoff approaches.

Should I Start Chase Brown for Fantasy Football?

Yes, you should. Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown has had an excellent 2024-25 campaign. The 24-year-old has 1,259 all-purpose yards, and he's also combined for 11 touchdowns. Brown has been a touchdown machine, finding the end zone at least once in seven of his last nine appearances.

Since the injury of Zach Moss in Week 8, Brown has played 80% plus of the snaps and 93% and 98% in the last two weeks, respectively. He has no competition for touches, scores consistently, and has been excellent on the ground while providing a safe floor in PPR leagues with his receptions.

The potential weather should not impact his production. RotoBallers ranks him as RB7 in Week 17.

Should I Start Tee Higgins for Fantasy Football?

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (ankle/knee) is questionable on Saturday. His limited participation in practice the last few days is an encouraging sign that he is trending toward playing. Although Higgins has had an up-and-down campaign in 2024, he has been a consistent and reliable wide receiver for fantasy managers and quarterback Joe Burrow lately.

Even with his counterpart Ja'Marr Chase having the best season of his career, Burrow has found a way to help both his receivers produce at a high level. Higgins has scored 15 plus fantasy points in four of his last five games.

Although Higgins is WR29 on the year, he has come late, and RotoBallers ranks him WR10 in Week 17. Keep a close eye on the weather, as a wide receiver's production may dip a little if it's more difficult to throw the ball. Regardless, Higgins is a good start this week.

Should I Start Courtland Sutton for Fantasy Football?

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had a modest performance in the team's 34-27 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 16; however, he has had a lovely season overall. He is ranked WR15 for the year and has built a good connection with Rookie quarterback Bo Nix.

Sutton has scored ten-plus fantasy points in seven of his last eight games. That is consistent production that makes him a solid WR2 with upside. On the season, Sutton has demanded a 23.1% target share, and considering the Broncos are underdogs (+3.5), they may find themselves in a pass-heavy game script that would benefit Sutton.

Like Higgins, keep an eye on the weather, as his production may be limited if it's difficult to throw the football on Saturday. RotoBallers ranks him WR13 in Week 17.
