Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 15? Sincere McCormick, Alexander Mattison, Ameer Abdullah

Sincere McCormick - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Who should I start for Week 15? Fantasy football outlooks for Sincere McCormick, Alexander Mattison, Ameer Abdullah. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

Playoffs? Playoffs?! Are you kidding me? Well, we blinked, and here we are. Do you want to rewind the clock, go back 13-14 weeks, and start over? Or has your team locked in the top seed, and you are happy to be here? Either way, here we are, and I look forward to discussing some running backs for Week 15.

The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 15 with Desmond Ridder under center on Monday Night Football. It is safe to say that they will likely try to run the ball, so let's talk through the Raiders running back room.

I’ll highlight recent statistics for these players, share my recommendations for Week 15, and evaluate whether they should be in your starting lineups.

Should I Start Sincere McCormick for Fantasy Football?

The Las Vegas Raiders' running back, Sincere McCormick, rushed for 78 yards on 15 carries during Sunday's Week 14 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also caught two of his three targets for an additional 11 receiving yards. McCormick gave fantasy managers an admirable performance while filling in for Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad).

Head coach Antonio Pierce was asked by reporters on Wednesday whether or not Sincere McCormick will be RB1 when Alexander Mattison returns. He responded with, “Yep. He’s deserved it. Last week, he was running his tail off. So, keep running it, keep pushing those numbers up, see if we can get him to 100.”

McCormick is the running back to have for the Raiders. This week, he takes on the Atlanta Falcons, who have given up the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. This makes McCormick a decent RB3 for this week or a potential flex option, depending on your other options. RotoBallers ranks McCormick as RB28 in Week 15.

Should I Start Alexander Mattison for Fantasy Football?

Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison (ankle) was a full participant during Thursday's practice session. This is good news for him, and it appears Mattison is ready to return to the field for the first time since Week 11. However, as mentioned above, Mattison is expected to be demoted to the backup role, according to head coach Antonio Pierce.

This makes Mattison a touchdown-dependent running back in Week 15. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for production at the running back position. RotoBallers ranks Mattison as RB56 in Week 15.

Should I Start Ameer Abdullah for Fantasy Football?

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ameer Abdullah was a non-factor in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He touched the ball twice for negative two yards. After handling lead back duties in the Raiders' offense over the last few weeks, the veteran bottomed out in Week 14 -- playing clear second-fiddle to Sincere McCormick, who we discussed above.

Abdullah can be dropped in 10-12-person leagues and should not be viewed as more than a third-down running back moving forward. In addition, with Mattison tracking to play in Week 15, there's a chance he does not see the field at all.
