Who Should I Start For Fantasy Football Week 15? Rico Dowdle, James Cook, Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Who should I start for Week 15? Fantasy football outlooks for Rico Dowdle, James Cook, Tyrone Tracy Jr. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

There are some running backs that fantasy players can start every week with confidence, like Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, and Joe Mixon.

Meanwhile, Rico Dowdle, James Cook, and Tyrone Tracy Jr. have been three of the hottest running backs in fantasy football over the past several weeks.

Which running back should fantasy players start in Week 15? Let’s dive into it.

Should I Start Rico Dowdle For Fantasy Football?

Dowdle is the RB27 for the year, averaging 11 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. After using multiple running backs to start the season, the Dallas Cowboys have made Dowdle their featured guy in the backfield. He has had at least 18 rushing attempts in three consecutive games after totaling more than 12 only once over the first 11 weeks.

Last week, Dowdle had 18 rushing attempts for 131 yards and 14.6 fantasy points against the Cincinnati Bengals. He has had at least 112 rushing yards and 14 or more fantasy points in back-to-back games. Dowdle is a borderline top-12 running back this week against an awful Carolina Panthers run defense.

Should I Start James Cook For Fantasy Football?

Cook has had a breakout season. The star running back had four rushing touchdowns over his first two years in the league. By comparison, he has 11 rushing touchdowns over the first 13 games, scoring at least once in six of the past eight contests. More importantly, Cook is the RB13 for the season, averaging 14.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.

Unfortunately, the third-year pro faces an elite Detroit Lions run defense on Sunday. They have held running backs to 15 fantasy points per game, the second-fewest in the NFL. Yet, fantasy players should start Cook as a mid-range RB2 because of his role in the offense.

Should I Start Tyrone Tracy Jr. For Fantasy Football?

Tracy was a popular late-round sleeper candidate entering the 2024 season. While the rookie running back got off to a slow start, he has been outstanding lately. Tracy is the RB28 for the year, averaging 9.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. By comparison, he has averaged 13.3 fantasy points per game over the past nine contests.

Furthermore, the rookie running back has been a scoring machine lately. Tracy has four rushing touchdowns over his past six games, including in back-to-back contests. Meanwhile, he faces a Baltimore Ravens defense this week that has surrendered over 100 rushing yards to running backs in two of their past three games. Tracy is a low-end RB2 in Week 15.
