Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 15? Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, D'Andre Swift

D'Andre Swift - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Who should I start for Week 15? Fantasy football outlooks for Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, D'Andre Swift. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

The Chicago Bears present a weekly conundrum for fantasy managers who roster one or more of their players. Wide receiver DJ Moore has been more dependable than the rest in recent weeks. But the other receivers and the team's lead running back can be harder to predict.

This should be no surprise to anyone who's watched the Bears play. They've been starting a rookie quarterback in Caleb Williams all season. He's played very inconsistently, and his game is full of flaws that must be addressed. Still, there's no denying that he and his skill-position players are highly talented.

Let's take a look at three players from this Bears team and break down whether you should start or sit them in Week 15 for fantasy.

Should I Start Keenan Allen for Fantasy Football?

After two straight games with 23-25 PPR fantasy points in Weeks 12-13, wide receiver Keenan Allen didn't produce well in Week 14, snagging three of his six targets for 30 yards. That was good for just 6.0 PPR FPTs. With so much target competition in an inconsistent offense, it can be hard to predict Allen's fantasy production.

The 32-year-old still possesses impressive moves and route-running skills, but without touchdowns, he hasn't cracked double-digit points all season. Presumably, the matchup with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15 is a good one, but outside of deeper leagues, like those with 14 or more teams or with three or more WR or FLEX spots, we would recommend benching him.

It's too hard to predict touchdowns (it's impossible) for receivers. And in his games without TDs this year, he's never gained more than 44 receiving yards.

Should I Start Rome Odunze for Fantasy Football?

After an avalanche of preseason hype, unironic comparisons to Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald from the Arizona Cardinals, talk of him being a "guaranteed WR1" in the league, and essentially nothing but talk that he'd be elite at the next level, he hasn't lived up to the billing.

Odunze has played well for the most part, but we can't just let the Fitz comp slide, though. He is nowhere near that level of talent. And for fantasy football, he's just the WR44 on the season. Some may blame everything on the offensive line and quarterback, but to a large degree, we don't care.

We imagine Williams will get sacked a ton since he's facing a defense that sends a ton of blitzes to opposing quarterbacks in the Minnesota Vikings. No, you can't blame the offensive line for a percentage of pressures a QB converts to sacks because it's the QB's responsibility to get away from pressure.

We have the same recommendation for Odunze as well. Start him in 14+ team leagues or those with deep starting lineups.

Should I Start D'Andre Swift for Fantasy Football?

Swift will face one of the NFL's best run defenses in Week 15. He looked like an elite RB (on the stat sheet only) during his seven-game stretch of scoring double-digit PPR fantasy points, but he's fallen off hard since then. That's mainly because the insanely easy cakewalk portion of his schedule is over now.

When the blocking is good, and you can get him out in space, his athleticism makes him a huge problem for opposing defenses, and he has the speed to make explosive plays. The problem is that he doesn't have good vision, regularly tries to bounce inside runs to the outside, and if the blocking isn't great, he usually isn't very productive.

The scarcity of the RB position in fantasy dictates that many teams will have to start him anyway. In competitive 12+ team PPR leagues and 14+ team standard leagues, we'd recommend starting him as an RB3/FLEX if you don't have better options. Otherwise, he should probably be benched.
