Who Should I Pickup for Fantasy Football Week 6? Kimani Vidal, Michael Carter, Rico Dowdle, Darren Waller, Kenneth Gainwell, Nick Chubb, Kyle Pitts Sr, Keon Coleman, Romeo Doubs, Luther Burden III

Arizona Cardinals running back Michael Carter recorded 18 carries for 51 yards and a touchdown as well as five catches for 22 yards in his team's 22-21 Week 5 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

In Arizona's first full game without both running backs James Conner (ankle) and Trey Benson (knee), Carter recorded 23 touches, compared to eight combined touches for fellow Cardinals backs Emari Demercado and Bam Knight. While Carter did not have his most efficient day as a rusher in Week 5, he looks like the clear number one option in the run game for Arizona.

Additionally, Demercado broke a long run that should have been a touchdown but dropped the ball just before crossing the goal line, which could put him in the dog house with Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon. With Conner out for the season and Benson on Injured Reserve, Carter should be a priority waiver-wire addition in any league where he is not already rostered.

Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle was spectacular on Sunday in a smash spot against a poor Miami Dolphins run defense, and he made the most of it.

Stepping in for injured Chuba Hubbard (calf), Dowdle rewarded his fantasy managers who picked him up off the waiver wire with his 206 rushing yards (8.96 YPC) and 28 receiving yards on three receptions, and with his touchdown coming from one yard out. Dowdle has slowly been getting more involved over the last few weeks, and he made the most of his opportunity in Week 5 as the lead-back.

It's hard to imagine this backfield not moving closer to a 50/50 split once Hubbard returns, although nothing yet has been reported. In the meantime, Dowdle needs to be picked up off waivers if he is still out there, and if Hubbard misses any additional time, he will be a high-end RB2 heading into Week 6, as the Panthers face another sub-par defense in the Dallas Cowboys.

Miami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller hauled in all five of his targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Waller was in line for a big afternoon, after all five of his receptions came in the first half, and his touchdown came from four yards out to put the Dolphins up 17-0 at the time. What is most encouraging is that he also hauled in a 34-yard and 21-yard reception, showing that he is more than just a red zone threat for his quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa.

This marks his second straight game with a touchdown and demonstrates a reliable floor when healthy. With presumed increased volume, Waller belongs in the TE1 conversations and should be rostered based on his red-zone upside. In addition, he was third on the team in targets, behind Jaylen Waddle and De'Von Achane.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. had his best week of the season to date in Sunday's 34-27 win over the Commanders, reeling in all five of his targets for 70 yards and a touchdown, his first of the year.

That now makes four straight weeks with at least five targets and at least four catches to begin the 2025 campaign, currently ranking as the ninth-highest scoring tight end in half-point PPR leagues. The former first-round draft pick's target share (18.5 percent) ranks second on the team behind only Drake London, and that is even the case if you only look at Weeks 2-4 when Darnell Mooney was on the field.

It's almost a five percent increase in target share compared to his involvement last season, too. The Falcons have a bye in Week 5, and Pitts returns to a tough matchup in Week 6 against the Bills, a team that has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to TEs this year, so it will be a good test to see if Michael Penix Jr. can keep him involved on an every-week basis.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III has had limited opportunity so far through four games, but has made the most of them. He's caught seven of eight targets for 99 yards and a touchdown on the year, with most of that coming in Week 3 against Dallas when he caught all three targets for 101 yards and a touchdown.

He strangely has negative receiving yardage in two of the other three games, but has looked explosive in his time on the field. His snap share hasn't risen to a very interesting level quite yet, sitting at 25.2% for the season. His snap share unfortunately didn't tick up in Week 4 after his breakout Week 3 game, but patience is to be encouraged with Burden.

There are still plenty of mouths to feed in Chicago, but Burden is talented enough to emerge as a factor in Ben Johnson's offense. He's a great stash candidate until things change.
