Week 13 Outlooks For Fantasy Football

Nico Collins, Houston Texans - Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy managers rostering Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins are dreaming of big-time points against a bad Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 13. The star receiver has a ready-made matchup against a defense that has allowed the second-most yards after the catch, fourth-most total yards, and third-most points against fantasy receivers.

Houston has had pass protection issues, but Collins is still averaging 89 yards on nearly eight targets, and there's no reason to think Houston wants him to see less of the ball against one of the NFL's worst defenses. He should be a lineup lock this week.

- Nick Piotrowicz, RotoBaller

Darnell Mooney, Atlanta Falcons - Fantasy Football Outlook

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (hamstring) is good to go ahead of the Week 13 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Mooney suffered a hamstring injury during last week's loss to the Denver Broncos.

As a result, Mooney was limited in practice on Wednesday but has now been cleared to play in Week 13. Before last week, Mooney had posted three straight 80-plus receiving yard games. The Chargers' secondary has been solid this season, so Mooney should be pushed into WR3 territory for Week 13.

- Andy Webb, RotoBaller

Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts - Fantasy Football Outlook

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has had less than 60 yards rushing in three of his last four contests and bottomed out in the passing game last week, not having garnered even a single target.

The 25-year-old will face the Patriots on Sunday, a defense that has been middle-of-the-pack against the run. While cold conditions at Gillette Stadium might warrant going to the ground game a bit more this week, the problem for Taylor is that quarterback Anthony Richardson has eaten into his workload, with the QB rushing 20 times over the last two games.

Last week that meant that Taylor was left with just 11 rush attempts, although that was also partly due to the fact that the Colts were playing catch-up from the start. Richardson also scored twice on the ground two weeks ago, taking away potential touchdowns for the fifth-year back, which further diminishes Taylor's upside. As such, the former second-round draft pick projects as a borderline RB1/2 this week.

- Jarod Rupp, RotoBaller
