Week 12 DraftKings NFL DFS Picks - Main Slate (2025)

Jahmyr Gibbs - Fantasy Football, Rankings, Draft, Sleeper, DFS, Running Back

Jamie's DraftKings NFL DFS Week 12 picks, value plays, DFS sleepers for the main slate (2025). His top DK plays and value picks for daily fantasy football lineups.

We're still rolling, baby! A couple of gutsy calls kept me atop the FantasyPros Rankings leaderboard in my quest to bring RotoBaller a title this year, and Week 12 kicks off with a Buffalo/Houston tilt on Amazon Prime! No Josh Allen decisions will have to be made for the DraftKings main slate this week, so let's see what else we've got.

There are a few key things to watch out for. The premier piece of news is the fact that Ja'Marr Chase is suspended, but Joe Burrow might return for the Bengals in what's still a very wide-open AFC North. We also have some big-time questionable tags among the RBs that could turn the slate on its head come Sunday.

Be sure to jump into our RotoBaller Discord! We have so many different channels devoted to whatever you're playing in fantasy football. We also have lots of great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win MORE this season! Good luck with your DraftKings DFS lineups -- let's dominate this Week 12 slate together!

DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 12 DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Drake Maye, NE @ CIN ($6,900)

You think Drake Maye has been good thus far? Wait until we see what he's able to accomplish against the Cincinnati "defense" this week! Maye has been amazing as he's taken the top spot in the MVP race, combining efficiency, chunk plays, and rushing upside.

Kayshon Boutte will return for the Patriots this weekend to add another weapon to their humming offense, and the Bengals' defense has allowed the highest YPA and the second-most FPPG to opposing QBs. It's difficult to stomach the fact that Maye is making more money than Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts, but that's the year he's having.

VALUE PLAY

Jacoby Brissett, ARI vs JAX ($5,300)

Jacoby Brissett BROKE THE NFL RECORD for completions in a game last Sunday against the 49ers with 47. He did not miss a single beat with Marvin Harrison Jr. on the shelf, connecting at an absurd level with Michael Wilson and all-world TE Trey McBride. This week, he will take on a Jags team that has allowed the fifth-most FPPG to opposing QBs.

Since taking over as the starter in Week 6, Brissett is the QB4 in FPPG. For those counting, that's better than Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, and the aforementioned Maye. He is a legit QB1 with the passing volume he's unlocked, and he's still priced like a borderline starter.

Other options - Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Jaxson Dart

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 12 DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Jahmyr Gibbs, DET vs NYG ($8,300)

Right now, I have Christian McCaffrey ranked as the overall RB1 for Week 12, and that's only because Jahmyr Gibbs has to contend with David Montgomery. If you told me Gibbs should be ranked #1, I wouldn't argue, as he's been everything the Lions could have wanted and more. This week, he takes on my Giants, who have been obliterated by RBs for almost 6.0 YPC and the third-most FPPG.

Gibbs is averaging the third-most rushing YPG and the fourth-most FPPG, and the Lions will be at home, where they're an unstoppable force. Their implied total this week is 30 (highest on the slate), and I'm betting on the over. Since the beginning of 2024, the Lions have averaged over 32 PPG, and Shane Bowen's defense is just a sieve right now.

VALUE PLAY

Chase Brown, CIN vs NE ($6,200)

For the second straight week, Chase Brown is the top value RB. Since Samaje Perine went down in Week 9, Brown has snap shares of 96% and 82%, and has 36 carries and 22 targets over the last two weeks. Perine is doubtful to return for Week 12, meaning Brown should get a massive amount of carries with Cincinnati in must-win mode.

Ja'Marr Chase's suspension is highly relevant here. In games Chase has missed since the beginning of 2024, Brown's target share out of the backfield has increased by almost 5%. Joe Burrow looks increasingly likely to return for this one, which should vastly increase the efficiency of Cincinnati's offense. Brown is a cash lock once again.

Other options - Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Emanuel Wilson

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 12 DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET vs NYG ($8,000)

A big dilemma that will arise from cash players is who to prioritize between Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Ultimately, that decision will come to which position offers more value, but there is absolutely no reason you can't roster both. They've proven time and time again that they're capable of hitting ceiling games together, and the Lions are going to absolutely run up the score here.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Puka Nacua have gotten all the accolades for the top WRs, but St. Brown just continues to chug along at an elite level. He's third among all WRs in fantasy points, and he has 53 targets over his last five games. Sam LaPorta is out, which will funnel more usage St. Brown's way, and the Giants have allowed the third-most receiving yards.

VALUE PLAY

Michael Wilson, ARI vs JAX ($4,800)

Michael Wilson came slamming onto the scene in a HUGE way last week, logging 15 catches on 18 targets for 185 yards. His 31.6% target share was the second-highest for a Cardinals' WR this entire year, and he was able to achieve that even with known target-hog McBride garnering 11 looks himself.

Wilson's price tag has risen $1,000, but it's not nearly enough of an increase for the WR1 role he showed. Jacksonville has been vulnerable in the secondary this year, allowing the ninth-highest YPC and the 10th-most FPPG to opposing WRs. Stacking the condensed Cards' passing attack is a high-floor move in cash games that has GPP upside as well.

Other options - Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Tee Higgins, Jameson Williams, Wan'Dale Robinson

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 12 DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Trey McBride, ARI vs. JAX ($6,800)

Continuing with the aforementioned Cardinals, McBride is not only the TE1, but he should now be considered to be in a tier of his own. McBride has back-to-back games clearing 30 DK points, and has logged double-digit targets in five of his last seven games.

Any concerns about his TD equity from last year have been smashed. McBride has scored six times over his last five games and has clear chemistry with interim QB Brissett. The matchup is amazing, as the Jaguars have allowed the most catches and the second-most FPPG to opposing TEs. I've always been in the "sub-$4k" camp when it comes to rostering TEs, but McBride should be $8k+.

VALUE PLAY

Kyle Pitts Sr., ATL @ NO ($4,300)

We've repeated the same two plays in the TE section, but that's an indictment on DraftKings for failing to price them up enough from last week. Kyle Pitts' last three games have made his rankings come crashing into TE2 territory, but he's a TE1 with Kirk Cousins under center.

With Cousins under center in 2025, Pitts leads the Falcons in targets, catches, and receiving yards. He went 9-59-0 in Week 8 against Miami when Cousins started, and the Saints have allowed the tenth-most FPPG to TEs.

Other options - Travis Kelce, Hunter Henry, Mark Andrews

DraftKings D/ST - Week 12 DFS Picks

Top Five Defenses For Cash Games

  1. Cleveland Browns ($2,900)
  2. Seattle Seahawks ($4,000)
  3. New Orleans Saints ($2,500)
  4. Baltimore Ravens ($3,900)
  5. Las Vegas Raiders ($3,500)

Thanks for reading, and good luck in your contests this weekend!
