Potential Fantasy Football Lineup Busts
QB Baker Mayfield (TB) vs. NE
Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers are coming out of a much-needed Week 9 bye. Their entire offense has been decimated by injuries, including both top wideouts, Mike Evans (collarbone) and Chris Godwin (fibula). In addition, starting running back Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) has been on the shelf for over a month.
While Irving could return in this matchup, Mayfield carries low-end QB1 upside with high bust potential facing a tough New England defense. The Patriots enter this game allowing the 13th-fewest PPR points to opposing QBs. In his last game, Mayfield tallied just 7.6 PPR points against a struggling New Orleans defense.
While Irving and Emeka Egbuka will provide him with some upside, without his full arsenal of pass catchers, Mayfield falls into bust territory in Week 10.
RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt (WSH) vs. DET
Jacory Croskey-Merritt has seen his fantasy stock decline due to a lack of positive game scripts. With his QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) slated to miss this game and potentially the remainder of the season, Croskey-Merritt may not have too many positive game scripts in the second half. Facing a potent Detroit offense does not bode well for the early-down running back.
The seventh-round rookie has not been involved in the passing game, as he has caught three of his five targets since Week 6. Even on the ground, he may not find much success as the Lions are allowing the fourth-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs. Croskey-Merritt does not even fall into FLEX territory this weekend. Sit him in all standard leagues.
WR Tetairoa McMillan (CAR) vs. NO
After a strong opening month of his rookie campaign, the Arizona product has seen his productivity decline as the Panthers have leaned on running back Rico Dowdle. Facing a Saints team that has allowed the 12th-most PPR points to opposing RBs, the game plan should center around their breakout running back once again.

Since Week 6, McMillan has averaged just 12.4 PPR points per game. In two of these games, he has fallen under double-digit PPR points. His overall average production during this stretch is greatly affected by his two-touchdown outing against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.
Facing a Saints defense that has been quite reliable at times, McMillan falls into WR3 territory. The Saints are allowing the 15th-fewest PPR points to opposing WRs. Prior to allowing 34 points to the Rams last weekend, they held Mayfield to 152 passing yards in Week 8 and Caleb Williams to just 172 yards in Week 7.
If Bryce Young struggles again and the Panthers lean on their ground attack, McMillan will bust as a result.
TE Mason Taylor (NYJ) vs. CLE
Mason Taylor could be the team's primary target in Week 10, but he falls into high-risk TE2 territory. While Garrett Wilson (knee) could miss another game, managers looking to stream a tight end should look elsewhere. Since seeing 12 targets back in Week 5, Taylor has caught just nine passes over his last three games, averaging 7.2 PPR points per game.

Given Justin Fields' inconsistent play under center, Taylor will be a boom-or-bust TD-dependent TE. Facing a Cleveland Browns defense that has allowed the 14th-fewest points to the position makes him a strong sit in all formats.
