Updated Waiver Wire Rankings for Week 7 (2025): Fantasy Football Pickups for Sean Tucker, Luther Burden, Tyjae Spears, Romeo Doubs, Tez Johnson

Sean Tucker - Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, Draft Sleepers, Draft Rankings

Updated mid-week fantasy football waiver wire rankings for Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season. Top fantasy football free agents and streamers to add off waivers.

We are approaching the halfway point of the fantasy football season, and managers will have not only injuries but also bye weeks to navigate through. There is still plenty of football to be played, and it's more essential now to scout the waiver wire to bolster your rosters and make a playoff push. At RotoBaller HQ, we are back with more waiver wire advice with our updated waiver wire rankings for fantasy football Week 7 of the 2025 season to help fantasy managers find those injury replacements.

The Buccaneers have lost wide receivers Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Emeka Egbuka to injuries recently. Evans could return this week, but with Tampa Bay's wide receiving core banged up, which Bucs receiver should you add between Sterling Shepard, Tez Johnson, and Kameron JohnsonPuka Nacua could miss Week 7 with an ankle injury. Should managers add Jordan Whittington or Tutu Atwell as an injury replacement for Nacua? As the week proceeds and more injury reports are confirmed, we tweak and adjust our waiver wire rankings for all positions.

These Week 7 waiver wire rankings are updated by Nick Mariano, RotoBaller's lead fantasy football analyst and forecaster. For those who are not familiar, he brings you his weekly waiver wire rankings and priority adds for the top 85 options to consider across various positions and league sizes. Good luck in Week 7 on the waiver wire!

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks

Some of the top names include Josh Reynolds, Sterling Shepard, Jordan Whittington, Sean Tucker, and Harold Finnen Jr. We recap why these players should be on your waiver wire radar for Week 7.

Josh Reynolds, WR, Jets

New York Jets wide receiver Josh Reynolds is in line to see a significant increase in usage in Week 7, with fellow wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) expected to miss time with injury. Wilson hyperextended his knee in Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos, and although he was in and out of the game, it now appears he'll miss at least the team's next outing.

The 25-year-old has been one of the Jets' lone bright spots, and it's unlikely that his shoes are filled by one player alone. With that said, Reynolds is the clear-cut WR2 in terms of snap share. Rookie tight end Mason Taylor and running back Breece Hall figure to absorb some of the vacant targets for as long as Wilson is sidelined, but the veteran should be out there most frequently among his position-mates. He carries some low-end PPR appeal depending on Wilson's status.

Sterling Shepard, WR, Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard should be in line for an increase in workload moving forward, with Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (fibula), Bucky Irving (shoulder/foot), Jalen McMillan (neck), and now Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) all injured and expected to miss some time.

Sheppard remains one of the few healthy Buccaneer receivers, and his competition for targets includes rookie Tez Johnson, Cade Otton, and Kameron Johnson. Sheppard is the most proven and experienced in that pass-catching room, and heading into what is expected to be a high-scoring affair against the Detroit Lions (53.5 point total according to sportsbooks), should be a solid low-end WR2 play and prioritized on the waiver wires this week.

Jordan Whittington, WR, Rams

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Jordan Whittington has recorded just 10 catches for 112 yards on 13 targets through six games so far this season. However, with star Rams wideout Puka Nacua (ankle) potentially sidelined for the team's Week 7 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Whittington could see his playing time skyrocket.

In the six games that Nacua missed in 2024, Whittington recorded 21 catches for 287 yards on 27 targets. Nacua's injury is not expected to lead to a long-term absence, and the Rams will have their bye week in Week 8. Still, for deep-league managers desperate for a flex option in Week 7, Whittington could be a player to target on the waiver wire.

Sean Tucker, RB, Buccaneers

In his team's second full game without starting running back Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder), Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker saw his rushing workload increase. Tucker recorded six carries for 25 yards and a touchdown in Tampa Bay's 30-19 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Tucker still appears to be firmly behind fellow Buccaneers back Rachaad White, who logged 20 total touches against San Francisco. Still, with Irving likely to remain sidelined through at least Week 7, Tampa Bay could be working Tucker into a larger role. At the very least, Tucker has value as a short-term handcuff option to White and should be rostered in all fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams.

Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Browns

Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. has already been through the waiver wire cycle this season, but the rookie is heating back up and could be even more productive in the coming weeks. Fannin led the Browns with seven catches and 81 receiving yards on Sunday against the Steelers. He was second on the team with 10 targets behind only Jerry Jeudy.

He seems to have formed a strong connection with rookie QB Dillon Gabriel, and the Browns seem ready to let Gabriel air it out, as evidenced by his massive 52 pass attempts on Sunday in Pittsburgh. Fannin played 80% of snaps on Sunday and could be in for even more snaps and targets depending on the status of David Njoku (knee), who left the game and returned twice before ultimately being ruled out in the fourth quarter. If Njoku misses time, there will be even more work for Fannin, although his target share is already impressive enough to make him a strong waiver wire pickup and potential play this week in a very favorable matchup against the Dolphins.
