The NASCAR Cup Series ran the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon, and it was William Byron who got the victory after a strong late restart. That is his sixth win this season and that locks Byron into the Round of 8 in the Playoffs.
When it came to Green Flag Speed, Kyle Larson was the fastest, but he wrecked out of the race while battling for the lead with just a handful of laps remaining. He was followed in Green Flag Speedway by Denny Hamlin, Erik Jones, Chris Buescher, and Bubba Wallace. Of those five fastest drivers, only Hamlin and Wallace were able to secure top-five finishes in the end.
Of the top-five finishers, Christopher Bell was the slowest in Green Flag Speed, ranking 12th-fastest on the day but winding up with a fourth-place finish in the end.
