Terry McLaurin fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Terry McLaurin for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end WR2
ANALYSIS: Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin caught just two of his four targets in the season opener on Sunday for a mere 17 yards.
Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels struggled to find consistency in the passing game and often resorted to using his legs, which greatly hindered the fantasy production of his pass catchers. However, as Daniels gets accustomed to the NFL, fantasy managers should expect him to pass more often.
While McLaurin's box score is quite underwhelming, he was overthrown on a potential 70-yard score, which could have greatly changed his outlook heading into Week 2. Even though he could not connect with them, seeing Daniels look his way deep downfield is a great sign.

Nonetheless, the Commanders have a very week passing core outside of McLaurin which should allow him to see a hefty amount of targets his way on a weekly basis. Facing a New York Giants secondary that allowed over 200 passing yards to Sam Darnold, suggests that Daniels could find much more success through the air this weekend which bodes well for McLaurin.
