BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 1% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Terrace Marshall Jr. really had a tough start to the 2022 season. Hell, he already had a rough rookie season a year ago when he only appeared in 13 games getting a combined 30 targets over the full season. Marshall could only top 5.0 PPR points twice and those two outings came in the first three weeks of the season. He now has three such games having played just four over the year.
Marshall got drafted by the Panthers in 2021 with a 2nd-round pick and into the top 60 players of his class. He just lacked all types of opportunities last season, but that might be finally changing for the good. Marshall only logged 26 and 20 snaps in W5 and W6 (less than 50% snap share in both games) but he's now played 43 and 74 (!) with snap shares above 85% in both cases.
Not only is Marshall playing, but he's actually starting to put up numbers and connecting with QB P.J. Walker. Just this past Sunday, Marshall had his best game ever with a 4-of-9 performance in which he hauled in those four receptions for 87 yards at Atlanta.
The 12.7 PPR points were nothing gaudy, mind you, but this is a super young player just starting to get meaningful reps and chances in the NFL. He is not a rookie anymore but you could very well consider him one as he's pretty much a newcomer to the league with defense not having a large sample of plays on which base their schemes when it comes to defending him.
Don't get too overhyped about Marshall as he has a lot of work ahead of him, but if you're super needy at the position or into a really deep league, consider the sophomore a good flier to roster and start at the FLEX position going forward.
