Taysom Hill fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2024). Should you start or sit Taysom Hill in your fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: While Saints tight end Taysom Hill didn't have the best game in Week 1, the tight end position is grimmer than a Franz Kafka novel, and Hill has a nice rushing floor to lean on in an offense that wants to utilize him as a multi-talented weapon. He can run, throw, and catch, and new Saints OC Klint Kubiak intends to use those skills to boost the power of his offense.
A subtle Taysom Hill moment worth highlighting. Saints players/coaches talk about how not only can he do a ton of things, but he processes as a QB at the same time. Rashid Shaheed got mixed up here. This alone makes him startable at tight end. There aren't a lot of great tight end options right now, but you start Hill if you have him. He only scored 4.6 PPR fantasy points in Week 1, but he also only had one catch, and that number should rise as the season goes on given Hill's versatility. He should also be throwing more passes at some point.
Hill can be frustrating to start, but his upside in Kubiak's offense could prove valuable to fantasy managers. There's not much better you can get at the tight end position off waivers anyway, so if you don't have an elite option, Hill should be in your starting lineups.
