Baltimore Ravens - NFL Betting Analysis

Last week, the Ravens knocked off the Broncos by a score of 10-9, giving them an important win over an AFC opponent. Going into the matchup, the Ravens were -9.0 point favorites and did not cover the spread. Together, the two teams combined score remained below the over-under betting line of 40. Baltimore pulled out a comeback victory over the Broncos, as they entered the 4th quarter trailing by a score of 9-3. Despite the win, Baltimore was not able to cover the spread. Through 12 games, the Ravens have an ATS record of 5-7. So far, they have an over-under record of 4-8. This week's betting total of 37.0 is lower than the line in their previous games.

As the Ravens prepare to take on Pittsburgh, they have played well on offense, ranking 12th in points per game at 23.8. Look for the team to put together another strong offensive performance, as they are facing a Steelers defense ranked 17th in points per game. Although the Ravens come into the game ranked just 26th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Pittsburgh secondary that is vulnerable through the air, allowing an average of 255 passing yards per game. A key matchup to watch through the game is if Baltimore will be able to run the ball with their usual effectiveness. Even though they are averaging 157.8 yards per game on the ground, look for them to struggle against a defense that can be tough to run against.

Pittsburgh Steelers - NFL Betting Analysis

Last week, Pittsburgh played in a non-conference game vs the Atlanta Falcons, winning by a score of 19-16. Not only did Pittsburgh walk home with the win, but they also covered the spread as -1.0 point favorites. Together, the two teams combined score remained below the over-under betting line of 43. On their way to picking up a 3-point win, Pittsburgh held a 6-point lead heading into the 4th quarter at 19-13. Through 12 games, the Steelers have an ATS record of 6-5-1. So far, they have an over-under record of 5-7. This week's betting total of 37.0 is lower than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Steelers offense is averaging 17.8 points per game, placing them 28th in the NFL and are matched up against the NFL's 9th-ranked defense. Although the Steelers come into the game ranked just 24th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Baltimore secondary that is vulnerable through the air. For the season, Atlanta is allowing 248 passing yards per game. On the ground, Pittsburgh is the 16th-ranked team in rush yards per game and are facing the league's 2nd ranked rush defense.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Ravens vs. Steelers

Over the last 5 matchups between Baltimore and Pittsburgh, the Steelers have won 4 of the last 5 games. The two teams have combined to average 38.2 points per game in their last 5 meetings. In the two meetings between Baltimore and Pittsburgh, the Steelers picked up 2 wins by scores of 16-13 and 20-19.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have gone 3-2-0 vs the spread in these games. The Ravens' offense has averaged 19.6 points per game over the 5 most recent meetings with Pittsburgh, compared to the Steelers at 18.6.

Baltimore will look to keep things rolling as they have put together a mark of 2-1 over their past 3 games. This also includes going 0-3 ATS and an over-under mark of 1-2

In their last 3 road games, Baltimore has averaged 27.0 points per game while allowing 21.0. The team's record in this stretch was 2-1 while going 2-1.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Steelers have gone 2-1 straight up. In these games, they have a 2-1 record vs the spread and an over-under mark of 2-1.

Across their last 3 home contests, Pittsburgh has been good against the spread posting a mark of 2-1. Their overall mark in these games was 2-1, while averaging 23.33 points per game.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Ravens 3.0

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 37.0
