Should I start or sit Javonte Williams for fantasy football in Week 11 (2024)? Read our fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and fantasy lineup recommendations.
BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4
ANALYSIS: And just like that, Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams fades back into fantasy irrelevance. This time, it might be for good. He handled just one carry for one yard and caught two passes for six yards in his team's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10.
Audric Estime has TAKEN OVER Denver’s backfield.

It's probably over. Yours truly wrote an article recommending fantasy managers to pick up rookie back Audric Estime ahead of Week 7 of NFL action. Unfortunately, he fumbled in that game, and was sent back to the doghouse for a few weeks. All of a sudden, he's the clear leader of the backfield. Patience pays off sometimes.
Despite Williams having a huge game in Week 7, it didn't matter. It seems that the Broncos knew that Williams would never return to form after his devastating knee injury in 2022, and that's been the case. He looks much like his 2023 self -- struggling to break tackles and create yards after contact.
He may never see a workload heavy enough for fantasy relevance again.
