Roschon Johnson is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Chicago Bears running back Roschon Johnson didn’t play in Week 1 and didn’t receive a touch in Week 2. However, the second-year running back had a meaningful role on Sunday, totaling eight rushing attempts for 30 yards and four receptions for 32 receiving yards, scoring 8.2 half-point PPR fantasy points.
The Bears' backfield has been a nightmare for fantasy players. D'Andre Swift was the big-name free agent addition in the offseason. Unfortunately, he has struggled this season, leading to the team using their other running backs more.
Last week, Johnson earned the highest PFF grade among Chicago’s running backs. Furthermore, he was the only running back on the team to register a rushing first down in Week 3.

Fantasy players should add Johnson off the waiver wire. The former Texas star could replace Swift as the lead running back over the next few weeks, giving him meaningful fantasy upside. He is also a solid flex option in deeper leagues in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams.
