However, over the past two weeks, the 26-year-old has averaged 15.5 attempts per game with an impressive 66.5 rushing yards and 14.5 receiving yards per game. He has also found the back of the end zone in both of these outings.

Last weekend, against a tough Pittsburgh Steelers defense, Dowdle totaled a season-high 87 rushing yards and 27 receiving yards.
This weekend, he will face another tough rushing defense in the Detroit Lions but should be confidently started, given his role on a potent offense.
