Rhamondre Stevenson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 6 (2024). Should you start or sit Rhamondre Stevenson for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB18
ANALYSIS: New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson has had a frustrating start to the season. The veteran running back was outstanding over the first two weeks, averaging 23 rushing attempts for 100.5 yards, a touchdown, and 18.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
However, he scored 6.5 total fantasy points over the next two games, fumbling twice. Head coach Jerod Mayo benched Stevenson for the start of the Week 5 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Yet, the star running back had 89 rushing yards, a touchdown, and 17.2 fantasy points.
Hopefully, Stevenson can build off his success from last week in Week 6 against the Houston Texans. Unfortunately, he hasn’t practiced this week because of a foot injury, putting his status for Sunday’s game in doubt.
Players not spotted or officially a DNP through two practices this week include:
- Giants WR Malik Nabers
- Colts RB Jonathan Taylor
- Bills RB James Cook (note: Wednesday was a bonus practice because they play MNF)
- Colts WR Josh Downs
- Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson

The Texans have held running backs to 16.9 fantasy points per game, the ninth-fewest in the NFL. With Drake Maye making his first career start in Week 6, expect Houston to do everything possible to shut down the running game. Therefore, Stevenson is a risky RB2 this week.
