Casey Wilson's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Monday, 5/25/26. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Happy Memorial Day, everyone. I hope everyone enjoys their day off today, with some baseball, but let's not forget the true purpose of this day. If there are any veterans reading this article, I want to thank you for your service. DraftKings has a main slate in the afternoon, where Fanduel has two split small slates. We will cover those six games in today's article. Let's dig into some baseball.
If you have not had a chance to check out my model, I will refer to it throughout this article. To get a better sense of where I am, not only on today's slate but on every slate, please give it a look. My plays are solely based on numbers, and this model is the brain behind the operation. I have also created a higher model that is not public, but I will reference it in this article.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/25/2026, with the slate starting at 1:35 p.m. ET on DraftKings and FanDuel. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.
Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Shane McClanahan, SP - TBR ($9.0K DK/$9.7K FD)
We have three arms today that I considered for our core pitcher today, but ultimately decided on Shane McClanahan because of the discounted price. I want to start off by saying Jacob Misiorowski and Nolan McLean look phenomenal in their own right, but today I decided to go with McClanahan on the road against the Orioles as my SP1.
McClanahan has been great this season, pitching to a 3.59 xFIP, 25.8% K%, 1.05 WHIP, and a 0.40 HR/9. Over his last few starts, he has a 2.98 xFIP, 28.4% K%, 14.1% SwStr%, 0.86 WHIP, and 0.34 HR/9. He is projected to have a 28.1% K% and 5.58 strikeouts in this matchup.
The Orioles have struggled this season with southpaws. They have a 25.4% K%, .674 OPS, and a 93 wRC+ against the split. Over the last 14 days, they have a 27.5% K%, .641 OPS, and an 83 wRC+ against LHP. The Orioles have a projected implied run total of 3.6 in my model today. Shane McClanahan should be lower owned than McLean and Misiorowski, and that intrigues me today.
Top MLB DFS Stack for DraftKings, FanDuel
New York Mets (Model-Projected IRT of 5.4 runs) vs. Nick Lodolo
Today's slate is a bit tough on hitting and stacks. There are a few options I like tonight, but none stand out as much as the Mets do in this spot. They will square off against Nick Lodolo at Citi Field this afternoon.
Lodolo has struggled since his return from the IL. He has pitched to a 5.73 xFIP, 1.53 WHIP, 2.40 HR/9, 40.9% FB%, and a 38.6% Hard Hit%. He is struggling to throw strikes with just a 61.1% Str%. With that many baserunners and hard balls put in play, this is a perfect spot for a full stack.
The Mets have been nothing special this season against LHP, posting a .647 OPS and an 86 wRC+, but are heating up a bit. They have a 98 wRC+ over the last 14 days against southpaws, and their top two bats, Juan Soto and Bo Bichette, are heating up.
Favorite Targets: Mark Vientos, Juan Soto, A.J. Ewing, Bo Bichette, Carson Benge, Tyrone Taylor
Top MLB DFS Hitter for DraftKings, FanDuel
Mark Vientos, 1B/3B (FD Only) - NYM ($3.0K DK/$2.7K FD)
Vientos is my top play on tonight's slate. He looks phenomenal in this spot. He has a .369 wOBA, .200 ISO, and a .842 OPS against LHP this season and a .430 wOBA, .227 ISO, and a .982 OPS over his last 23 ABs. Lodolo has allowed a .415 wOBA, .292 ISO, and a 1.037 OPS this season to southpaws.
