Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have another 15-game slate on deck for us with tons of great spots to attack for home runs! Doug crushed it with the Juan Soto call against Zack Littell last night, and hopefully I can cook something up for y'all as well!
I have four home run picks on deck for you, as well as a longshot bet. Last week, we hit on our longshot bet of CJ Abrams against JR Ritchie. I'm looking to get back to it with the longshots and make some serious dough.
Below, you'll read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The current odds given reflect the best price as of the publication, but remember to always shop around at other sportsbooks so you can get more value on your wagers. MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (4/29/2026)
Mike Trout OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+386 DraftKings)
It's been too long since we had a great Mike Trout season, and I really hope he can continue this great season that he is having, because he truly deserves it. He has put up nine home runs this season, seven of which have come against RHP. His power against righties has been insane to start this season; he has a .526 SLG, .303 ISO, with an absurd 34.5% Barrel%, and a 53.4% HardHit%.
He is going up against Erick Fedde for the White Sox. Fedde hasn't had a bad year by any means, but he has been hit pretty hard by righties this season. In his first three starts, Fedde has given up two home runs with a .405 SLG, 14.7% Barrel%, and a 41.2% HardHit%.

It is kinda cold in Chicago this week, but Trout has some ridiculous power, and I wouldn't be surprised if we got a home run to start the morning off nicely.
Jesus Sanchez OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+600 HardRock)
Jesus Sanchez hasn't worked out for me in the past, but this is too good a spot to ignore. I think the other option would be to take a shot on Varsho, but his Barrel rate hasn't been very good. Brayan Bello has truly been atrocious this season, especially against lefties.
The LHH has done him in for seven home runs that have run up his HR/9 to a 6.10 in only five starts this season. He is also sporting an absurd .900 SLG, .480 ISO, 26.7% Barrel%, and a 40% HardHit%. His last start was a big reason why he is so down in the dumps; the Orioles unloaded on him for eight earned runs, including five home runs.
Jesus Sanchez has been having a relatively decent year and is leading the team in multiple categories against RHP. Sanchez is sporting a .475 SLG, .200 ISO, a 13.4% Barrel%, and a 52.2% HardHit%. Bello primarily throws the Cutter and Sinker, both of which Sanchez has hit well. Bello also throws the Changeup quite a bit, and Sanchez has struggled against that pitch. That being said, all it takes is one cutter over the plate, and Sanchez could be sending it to the moon!
Plus, those odds at +650 offer great value!
