Joel Embiid Good To Go Against Celtics
13 mins agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (foot) has been cleared to play and will start Wednesday against the Boston Celtics. Embiid was a game-time decision as he continues to deal with foot soreness, but should be fine for his normal workload. The Celtics are without Robert Williams III (ankle) and Al Horford (knee), paving the way for Embiid to have another monster night.Source: Keith Pompey
Killian Hayes Moves Back Into Starting Lineup
20 mins agoDetroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes has been promoted to the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Hayes has been in a slump and coming off the bench, but came up big last game with 17 points and nine assists in 32 minutes. This performance appears to have turned heads in the coaching staff and Hayes will replace Alec Burks as a starter Wednesday. Burks has been a common name in trade rumors and could be dealt before Thursday's deadline.Source: Detroit Pistons
Jamal Murray Questionable For Thursday's Contest
34 mins agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is officially questionable to play Thursday against the Orlando Magic. Murray missed the past two games due to some inflammation in his knee. If Murray is still less than 100%, it would not be surprising to see the Nuggets rest him. Bruce Brown should remain in the starting lineup if Murray is once again unable to play.Source: NBA Injury Report
Al Horford And Robert Williams III Both Out Wednesday
43 mins agoThe Boston Celtics have ruled out centers Al Horford (knee) and Robert Williams III (ankle) for Wednesday's contest against the Philadelphia 76ers. Horford and Williams were both listed as questionable, but were unable to push through to play against the Sixers. Grant Williams, Blake Griffin and Luke Kornet should all see increased roles while opposing center Joel Embiid (foot) should have a field day if he is able to play through his own ailment.Source: Jared Weiss
Monte Morris Will Miss Game Against Hornets
47 mins agoWashington Wizards guard Monte Morris (back) has been ruled out Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets. Morris only played 22 minutes on Monday and was a late addition to the injury report after experiencing some back tightness. Bradley Beal (foot) is making his return so it is unclear who will supplant Morris in the starting lineup. Delon Wright and Corey Kispert are the likely candidates to start with Delon Wright holding higher fantasy upside due to his steal rate.Source: Josh Robbins
Bradley Beal Set To Play Against Charlotte
51 mins agoWashington Wizards guard Bradley Beal (foot) will play Wednesday versus the Charlotte Hornets. Beal will make his return after a two-game absence due to some foot soreness and is slated to rejoin the starting lineup. With Kyle Kuzma (ankle) out, Beal should be even busier on offense. Corey Kispert will likely take a hit with Beal back, but may continue to start with Monte Morris (back) ruled out.Source: Josh Robbins
Keldon Johnson Available Versus Raptors
55 mins agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson (ankle) has been upgraded to available to play Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors. Johnson continues to deal with a sore ankle but will play through it as usual. The Spurs have a lengthy injury report against Toronto which should allow Johnson to continue flourishing on offense. Over the past month, Johnson is averaging 23.2 points on 48.1 percent shooting from the field and 85.1 percent shooting from the free throw line.Source: Tom Orsborn
Chris Duarte Will Play Versus Miami
1 hour agoIndiana Pacers guard/forward Chris Duarte (ankle) has been cleared to play against the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Duarte was questionable to play with a sore ankle, but went through shootaround with no issues and will make his return after a two-game absence. Duarte's return to the bench may take away some minutes from T.J. McConnell and Aaron Nesmith.Source: Scott Agness
Kyle Kuzma To Remain Out Wednesday
1 hour agoWashington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against the Charlotte Hornets. Kuzma will miss his second straight game with an ankle sprain after being listed as questionable. In Kuzma's absence, Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert are candidates to remain in the starting lineup. Avdija has the higher upside of the two while Kispert is more of a streamer for three-pointers.Source: Chase Hughes
Darius Garland And Donovan Mitchell Out Wednesday
1 hour agoCleveland Cavaliers guards Darius Garland (thumb) and Donovan Mitchell (groin) have been downgraded to out Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. Garland and Mitchell were originally slated to play before being downgraded to questionable and then ruled out before game-time. Raul Neto and Caris LeVert are expected to join the starting lineup and would be cheap DFS options. Garland and Mitchell are being listed with soreness so this should not force them to miss extended time.Source: Chris Fedor
Robert Williams III Downgraded To Questionable
4 hours agoBoston Celtics center Robert Williams III (ankle) has been downgraded to questionable for Wednesday's clash with Philadelphia. He is dealing with a sprained left ankle and was initially probable for the contest, but the change in his status leaves a big question mark hanging over Williams III's head ahead of the mouth-watering matchup. Al Horford (knee) is also questionable for the contest, and if both players are unavailable, Luke Kornet figures to feature very heavily in the contest, while there will be extended minutes available for Grant Williams and Blake Griffin.Source: NBA Injury Report
Al Horford Questionable On Wednesday
4 hours agoBoston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (knee) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the Sixers. The veteran has missed only two games since Dec. 16 and played 33 minutes last time out against the Pistons, but he is a late addition to the injury report with right knee swelling, which isn't a great sign regarding his availability for the contest. With Robert Williams III (ankle) also questionable for the contest, Luke Kornet could be set for a very large role, although this is an extremely difficult matchup against Joel Embiid. Blake Griffin figured to be involved quite a bit as well if neither Horford nor Williams III is available.Source: NBA Injury Report
Jaylen Brown Good To Go Wednesday
4 hours agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown (illness) will return to the lineup Wednesday against Philadelphia. He sat out the last game against Detroit with an illness but has now recovered well enough to play. Sam Hauser logged a start and put in an impressive performance in Brown's absence against the Pistons but will head back to the bench Wednesday. Brown ended January with a 37-point performance against the Lakers and has averaged 26.5 points in his first two February appearances, so he's been in very good form lately and should be full of confidence ahead of Wednesday's big matchup.Source: NBA Injury Report
Jeremy Sochan Misses Another Game Wednesday
4 hours agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward Jeremy Sochan (back) will remain sidelined for Wednesday's clash with the Raptors. He's having trouble with his back and won't be available for a third straight game. Sochan had a couple of really strong weeks before getting injured, so the timing is very unfortunate. He was previously regarded as doubtful for the game, so Sochan's return shouldn't be far away. Keita Bates-Diop has seen regular minutes in Sochan's absence and Stanley Johnson has more opportunities.Source: NBA Injury Report
Tre Jones Remains Out Wednesday
4 hours agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Tre Jones (foot) will miss a third consecutive game Wednesday versus Toronto. He was initially questionable for the game, but the team has now ruled out Jones, who will have his next chance to return Friday against Detroit. Malaki Branham has jumped into the starting lineup in Jones' absence, averaging 18.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the past two games. Josh Richardson has also seen some extra minutes and has been performing well for several weeks now.Source: NBA Injury Report
