Zack Moss Shipped To The Colts
2 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts acquired running back Zack Moss and a sixth-round pick that can go to a fifth-rounder in 2023 from the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday in exchange for running back Nyheim Hines, according to sources. In just five games with the Bills this year, Moss was third on the RB depth chart behind Devin Singletary and rookie James Cook, which led to just 17 carries for 91 yards and seven receptions for 27 yards. He won't have an immediate path to more playing time in his new digs behind top back Jonathan Taylor, but Taylor hasn't been as effective this year and has dealt with injuries as well. The Colts also still have Deon Jackson on the RB depth chart. Hines' departure will free up a considerable amount of RB receptions, which should benefit Taylor the most.
