Zack Moss Has Surgery Tuesday
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss (arm) had surgery on his broken arm on Tuesday, according to a source. Moss will need around six weeks before he can return to action, which is right around Week 1 of the regular season. The 25-year-old finished last year with 334 yards and 4.8 yards per carry over his final four games with the Colts after being acquired from the Buffalo Bills in a midseason trade. Before his arm injury in training camp this week, he was on track to contribute right away in 2023 as a complement to Jonathan Taylor (ankle). With both Moss and Taylor unable to practice, Deon Jackson, Evan Hull, Jake Funk and Zavier Scott are going to see increased opportunities to prove themselves in camp and the preseason. When both players are fully healthy, Moss will be the primary handcuff option for fantasy managers that take a chance on the injured and disgruntled Taylor as an RB1.
