Zach Plesac Takes Tough Loss in Second Career Outing
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Zach Plesac took a loss through no fault of his own Sunday, allowing just one run in seven innings of a 2-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox. The rookie allowed just four hits, but unfortunately one was a Tim Anderson solo home run in the fourth inning. Plesac walked one and struck out seven. The nephew of former MLB relief pitcher Dan Plesac, Zach now has a 1.46 ERA in 12 1/3 career innings. He faces the New York Yankees in his next start. Plesac has enough stuff to be a streaming option in some mixed leagues, but not for that matchup.
