Zach Charbonnet Gets Four Carries On Monday
12 months agoSeattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet took a big step back on the depth chart on Monday night. Charbonnet had just four carries for 16 yards in the 20-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The rookie was in on passing downs but he was targeted only once and did not record a catch despite quarterback Drew Lock's apparent fixation on short routes. Charbonnet was also on the field for two-minute drills but did not handle the ball during the eventual game-winning drive at the end of the fourth quarter. The four rushing attempts paled in comparison to the 22 touches garnered by Kenneth Walker III, in a workload split reminiscent of the first half of the season. After being left out of the picture on Monday, Charbonnet does not figure to be a big part of the Seahawks' game plan for their Week 16 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
