4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez (knees) has yet to work out on the field with the team in spring training as part of his recovery from surgery on both of his knees last year. Alvarez missed just about all of the 2020 season after he underwent surgery on his knees, so the Astros are understandably playing it safe with him early in camp. Even though the left-handed slugger was a non-factor in fantasy last season, we can't forget that he slugged a combined 50 home runs with 149 RBI in 143 games between the minors and majors in 2019 in his last full season. For the 23-year-old, the sky is the limit if he can remain healthy, which is why he's still ranked as a top-50 fantasy outfielder despite a lost season in 2020. Keep a close eye on his progress this spring, but if he doesn't have any setbacks, Alvarez is well worth his price at a current ADP of 83.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
