Will Smith On Twins Radar

San Francisco Giants closer Will Smith is on the Minnesota Twins radar as of now. The Dodgers have also been showing interest in Smith, who is likely to be traded before the deadline next month. The left-hander has been lights-out in 2019, posting a 1.95 ERA, 0.74 WHIP, 21 saves and 49 K's in 32 1/3 innings for the Giants. The Twins have been mixing and matching all year in the ninth with Taylor Rogers, Blake Parker and Trevor May. If they were to land Smith, we'd expect him to be their primary closer, which would be great news for him and bad news for anyone that owns Rogers, Parker or May. Back in San Fran, Tony Watson, Sam Dyson, Reyes Moronta and Mark Melancon could form a closer committee without Smith.
