White Sox Reinstate Eloy Jimenez From Injured List

The Chicago White Sox reinstated outfielder Eloy Jimenez (appendix) from the 10-day injured list on Sunday and optioned outfielder Adam Haseley to Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. Jimenez is right back in the starting lineup, playing right field and batting second on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers and left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez. The 26-year-old will return to the Pale Hose after missing almost a month after having an appendectomy, but fantasy managers will have him back after he played in three minor-league rehab games for Charlotte. Before he hit the injured list, Jimenez was hitting .258 (25-for-97) with four doubles, four home runs, 15 RBI and 12 runs scored in 25 games played. He will return to being an everyday player for Chicago in the outfield/designated hitter.
